Margaret, or Mag as she's known to friends, tells us the story of how she was instrumental in starting the Women's Institute in the Labrador Straits. She talks about the idea of the institute being about women and how they learned sewing and other skills or just got together to have fun and talk and discuss issues that they felt they had to act upon.
